About us
We regard technical drawings as the point at which an audio-visual system is fully defined. Any ambiguity that remains on the page becomes a question during installation.
The practice has operated from Kuala Lumpur since 2017, with Line Draw Audio Visual (LDAV) as its audio-visual arm. We keep a small number of client relationships and sustain them over the long term.
Five disciplines under a single standard
We prepare audio-visual design documentation for commercial, hospitality, corporate and public-sector projects. The set runs from concept drawings and system schematics through layouts, rack detail and cable schedules to the as-built issue.
We produce architectural and construction documentation for design studios, contractors and engineering firms. The drawings cover the stages between concept and construction, prepared to the presentation standards the receiving party expects.
We set up drafting standards and CAD documentation systems for organisations whose drawings arrive from several sources. The service covers templates, standardised layouts, conversions and clean-up of existing files.
The audio-visual industry has many practitioners who understand system design and many who can produce competent architectural drawings. Relatively few combine both.
Our team is drawn from architecturally trained backgrounds. Drafting discipline, CAD formatting and drawing convention are foundational to that training rather than skills acquired incidentally.
On that foundation we provide sustained audio-visual training. The combination produces documentation that serves two audiences at once: the engineers who require technical accuracy, and the site teams who require clarity and legibility.
Projects remain with the same personnel from initial scope through to final submission, so project knowledge is never lost through handover. Working with the same clients over several years also lets us learn their drawing standards and submission formats.
We prepare every sheet for the individual working on site with a set of printed drawings. Resolving pathways, terminations and mounting details at the documentation stage prevents the costly errors and site queries that incomplete drawings produce.
Drafting requirements are rarely constant. Our capacity adjusts to each client's pipeline, providing resources when a client secures a tender and none when work is absent.
An in-house drafter represents considerably more than a salary, adding CAD licences, specialised workstations and ongoing software training. Engaging our practice converts these fixed costs into a project expense that a client incurs only when work arises.
How we work
We discuss the project, define the scope and request every piece of reference material available.
A member of our CAD team takes the project, issuing work-in-progress files and handling revisions as they arise.
We review the set against the required standards, then issue it in the client's preferred format.

Yes. The practice has operated from Kuala Lumpur since 2017, and our client base is located predominantly outside Malaysia, with current clients in Australia, Canada and Japan. Project experience also covers the United States and Malaysia. Enquiries, scoping and delivery are all handled remotely.
The client does. All client information remains confidential and the property of the client, including CAD source files. That applies to the reference material sent to us as well as to the drawings we produce.
Drafting requirements are rarely constant, so our capacity adjusts to each client's pipeline. We provide resources when a client secures a tender and none when work is absent, which keeps a client's own personnel on their core responsibilities. Scope and cost are confirmed before work begins.
